That said, one of the best VH1 Behind the Music shows as about CCR. Off stage Fogerty seems like a real S.O.B. Brad

I read a biography of CCR, and there is enough angst in that band and its members to fuel a lifetime of hatred. John couldn't even bury the hatchet with his brother on his deathbed. The whole thing with the crummy contract that CCR signed with Fantasy should be a lesson to all young artists to READ your contract before you sign it. Roger

His voice was right on, and the music sounded like you were listening to the record. I must say,m though, that on one chorus of Bad Moon Rising, he did sing... "There's a bathroom on the right..."

They were great and my three chord garage band liked them since they had easy chords, music and lyrics. So, thirty five years later my new three chord garage band still loves them! LOL But you are right John Fogerty is the sound and feel of the original CCR. I remember Tom Fogerty left to pursue a solo career and for other reasons...that was a long lasting thing....lol....and later passed away a number of years back. Only a few months later in July 1972 after Tom left they broke up. A band legend in my opinion. Play On! John L. Legend LX Balladeer LX Std.
