I like the "individualized" character of it. Very hard to sell to someone else though. I just got an Elderly Music Catalog - If Martin can put Felix the Cat on one of theirs I'll take this one anyday!

Sheet, dude, a guitar that says, 'MARTIN' on it? No way, who would do *that* to a guitar? I mean, Felix the Cat I can see, but who in their right mind would put 'MARTIN' on a guitar? Never... :p

Joined: February 2002 Posts: 1817 Location: Minden, Nebraska | Another thread within a thread: Steve: I also picked up Slow Train Running on eBay last year. I covered some tunes from it when it was first released, but hadn't heard any of it or played those songs for a long, long time. It was reading his biography that inspired me to rediscover some of those songs after reading the accounts of his concerts at the time he was touring in support of it. A very interesing story... Mark Knopfler plays some delicious licks on that project. Dylan made an interesting choice of guitarist. I also confess to associating "It Ain't Me, Babe" more with The Turtles than BD.
