Location: Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey | Netflix, I find to be a tremendous service and saves me money on DVD rentals. ANYWAY, they have a HUUUUUUUGE selection of concerts on DVD in their music selection, hundreds you won't find in most dvd rental places. I just saw Steve Vai in Astoria (which was phenomenal and I'm not a real Vai fan-Shel even liked it!), Jim Croce (awesome-and he plays OVATIONS in it!-there's my relevant part of the thread!), Janis Joplin, Harry Chapin, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band (awesome New Orleans Jazz). If it's out there, they probably have it, many genres of music-classic rock, metal, pop, new & old etc.
I've used Netflix DVD rental service for about a year, and I find it's reallyfantastic and a money saver with NO LATE FEES. Dvds delivered to your door, postage paid, $14 a month, as many as you want~! Brilliant. Just effing brilliant. NETFLIX.com
As much as it sounds like I'm selling netflix (I should work for them!), I'm MORE psyched about having access to all these music concert DVDs-I've seen some really great ones without having to buy them. Just thought I'd share the joy with other musicians who might appreciate concert dvds. FIrst month is free!
