Location: New Jersey | Thinking of buying a Pacemaker 12 string model #1115.I believe it is a acoustic only deep bowl model. How would the sound compare with my 83 Legend
6 string with the mid bowl? It has a few small cracks that don't go through the wood around the bridge. Is this something that will get worse over time? It's seems to be mint barring the cracks(I haven't played it yet) It's around $300 w/CS is that a good price for a pacemaker 12. Any other info anyone can share about this model would be appreciated. |

Location: Ct./ USA | I think it is an old gutiar. If the bridge does not lift you can get many years of play. You Could also down tune it and use a capo, but that gutiar should be readdy to pick. |

Location: Ct./ USA | I don't think the 1115 has a k-bar, so watch the action, keep it in a case when not being played, and don't hang it on the wall, sell it to me! DOES it have a pick up under the bridge? Volume control ect? |

Location: Scotland | If this is the one currently on ebay, it looks pretty nice, it's from around '69/'70 I guess, possibly earlier, not mid 70's as he says. The finish cracks are nothing to be concerned about. At $300 it's a steal. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | This is a winged bridge model which came out after they switched to 4 digit model numbers. Don't worry at all about the truss rod neck, I've got a few old ones and they are like rocks. Dave |

Location: New Jersey | It is the one on e-bay.It doesn't have any electrics,it's acoustic only. After e-mailing the owner, who has been pretty honest, it has a noticable hump in the neck around the 12th fret.
According to him its about 1/4 " fret to string at the 12th.My 83 Legend which I think is ideal for my playing style is about 2/32 so thats pretty high.
The nice thing it's only about 45mins from my house
so I have to decide if I'm going to look at it or not.I'll see how high it gets.In relation I paid $400 for my really mint Legend with no issues about 4yrs ago.The thing that impresses me about my Legend the person I brought it from brought it new played it alot, profesionally and except for fret wear on the first three frets it performs and looks like a new guitar. |
