Location: puerto vallarta, mexico | those are some pretty interesting uk's miles. how do the switching and controls work on the triple humbucker one? is the wood top applied to a regular ukII? is it flat? you have the undeniably orgasmic collection of ovation solidbodies.
those farnell guitars are a different idea, but from what i briefly read they are very different than the ukIIs. i'd need to play one to have any opinion. i know my strat leads a lonely life since i started playing my first ukII. |

I now have another GAS syndrone twitch, I buy a Viper and replace the pickups with UKII pickups and blow away a certain Viper Custom. Anybody have any UKII pickups? I might even consider violating my beloved Viper that I already have. My usually dignified facial expression is showing a definite involuntary tic.

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Thanks, the UKII's and actually almost all of the guitars in my collection are stock or at least from the factory. Some are one-off's like the wood top UKII and the 3 pickup models.
Maybe CWKTWO knows a little more about the wood top model. All I know is that is was described to me, and I had to have it. It is my favorite UKII. I am in the process of thinning out my collection, but certain guitars I plan to be buried with. This is one of them. |

where do you plan on being buried? I'd want to pay my respects...

Lemme know if you ever plan on "thinning out" a mahogany 12-string Deacon. |

Location: Las Cruces, NM | Anybody have any UKII pickups? Pant pant, wheeze, huff huff, I seem to be going through some kind of seizure related to guitars that has destroyed my usually sensible self. I'm having visions of my Viper with UKII pickups floating in front of my eyes and slowly receding as I reach out to caress it. (Is caress a French word?)

I just got the UK II that Bill sent me. What a cool guitar. I'm notorious at work as the guy who's always getting guitars sent to him. I'm on of the youngest guys at work but I'm also one of the many guitar players there too. Whenever I get a new one the other guys file in to see what it is. I even keep an old Fender Champ in my office to play through when something new comes along. My office mates and I agree. Very cool guitar. Thanks Bill. Hope you got the check I Fed Exed to ya. Sorry it took me so long to get it out. It's so funny. I wnet from owning PRS's and Taylor, G&L's, and some other crap I dont even remember to just owning all Ovations. I have 3 GP' and now 2 UKII's. I have the rock, Ovation gave me the power.
