I tryed Febreze on a couple of guitar cases that had been "visited" by my father's cats. It worked well in getting the smell out of them. It does leave a smell of flowers behind, but that's a lot better then cat piss. It also seems to stiffen the nap of the interior material, but going over it with a brush helped.

There is something called X-10 that is available via pet stores that does a good job also on these CATastrophies.
