It’s scary. This thing appears to be growing geometrically.

Gadzooks what have you done? Go stir up the townsfolk and break out the torches.

You guys have created a monster.

I can see the marque now. "The OFC that ate Manhattan" :D

Behold the power of the Internet. :)

Well as one of the co founders it amazes me that we have such a vast membership and in the numbers that we have. We just passed our one year anniversary with 1000 members and we are growing at 3-5 members a day. This is amazing to me.

What I also want to comment on is the nature of this board, it is so civilized and well behaved and I want to thank all of you for that. I frequent other boards where if someone posted they had an imported guitar they would be slammed off the board. Here we try to help everyone no matter at what level they are creatively or economically. I think that is great. Sure there is a USA Ovation deep bowl Adamas bias but that could be compared to the corvette owners bias when talking about chevy celebrities or whatever.

thanks again to all of you who participate and it you are a lurker I urge you to join in the fun we are not that mean ...even me.

Well Mr Al Corleone

Some of us earlier members have watched you place an errant poster's head in a vice and crank it till they screamed uncle. "not that mean...even me". Yeah, and the mafia did a little valse with Jimmy Hoffa to show their love and respect.

Not fooled

Just to add a little to Al's note...

In that past few months, we are closer to SIX NEW MEMBERS A DAY!!!. As more folks post, the occurance on search engines goes up. Also, as members join, they tell other folks who also join. At some point it will level out, but Ovation guitars have been around for a long time without a Fan Club and it seems news is travelling fast.

So far this week, we have had visitors from the following:

- 47 of the 50 states.
- 7 of the Canadian Provinces (not sure how many there are)
- Mexico
- Uraguay
- Australia
- 7 Countries in Europe
- 4 Countries in Asia

Yes, just since last Sunday... I'm amazed at the numbers, and also at the level of community.

Cudos to all for making this a great place to visit.

The O'pranos just doesn't strike fear in my heart, however, the conspiracy of Al and Cliff in NJ does make me check my wallet frequently. However if you two reveal the location of Mr Hoffa, I will be suitably terrorized.

It is my understanding that Mr. Hoffa is in a couple of barrels buried inside one of the huge concrete piers that supports the northwest corner of Giants Stadium in the NJ Meadowlands (which was being built at the time Jimmy "disappeared").

Anything else?
