Last weekend, I tried out an accoustic amplifier called "The Strawberry Blonde". It liked it a lot, and am considering getting one. Has anybody got any experience with this Amp?

I like these a lot, the only thing that puts me off is the size & weight and lack of a balanced input. I use my acoustic amp as a personal monitor rather than backline so I use somthing small, light & powerful. If you need this as a main amp for home use or as a "PA in a box" for smaller gigs it'll be fine. Check out also Genz Benz, AER & Ashdown.

I do not like SWR products. They all hhhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssssssssssssssssssss and it drives me crazy.

I was looking for a portable bass amp for my wife and tried every swr in the store they all hiss the genz benz is quiet.

I like the genz acoustic amp also but would recommend an old trace eliott if you could find them. Gibson shut them down and is now contracting Trace amps out so who knows what the new ones will be like.

A friend of mine plays his Takamine thru the California Blonde, and he apparently liked it well enough to replace his Crate CA125. I *think* he runs thru a Boss AD-5, as well.
