Location: WNC-God's Country | All of the price books that I have on guitars are all in line with each other in saying that Ovation Collector and Anniversary models are worth 550.00 to 700.00 with 600.00 being the medium resale. Is this pretty much the facts? |

The '87 Collector, '96 Book Elite and '04 Custom Legend are near the top end of the spectrum.

And to find an average price for so diverse a collection of guitars is like saying the average price of a Honda Accord is $3,000. They've been making those since the early '80s, just like Ovation Collectors guitars.
As for the guitars, can we assume you're talking about the ones which actually sell? (Because you can price 'em whatever you want.) In that case, much depends on condition, age, popularity of that particular model (let's face it, some were kinda homely), how many were made, tone characteristics, time of year, the country you live in, the state of the economy, how patient or impatient you are and — last but not least — how much you want it. |

There ARE, however, some much more highly sought after Collectors' models that bring more because of higher demand, e.g. the '87. |
