| Anybody know how many were produced?
On the website they have the quantities of collectors' editions until 2005, I'd be curious to know how many were made, since it's the last Ovation collector's so far, since the 2008 is a Adamas...
BTW is there any information for the incoming 2009? |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Based on past trends I would agree with Bobbo, maybe 600-700. Have not heard if there will be an '09 Collector. I think we would hear sometime around December. Personally I think they should kill the collectors idea. It's run it's course for 25 years. Issue a special model when you actually have something special. The 05 Collector with the new bowl was a good example. But Slapping a different color of epaulet on an Elite and calling it a Collector guitar is a bit of a stretch. Dave |

| Well, personally I think it's a tradition of Ovation and should be preserved. Today their range is well defined, even new colours are quite rare, so having a model dressed up slightly different is welcome, as well as experimentation.
You can't have a new bowl every year, after all. |

| Another curiousity: I'd like to ask the other owners of this limited run is they were given a certificate of authenticy like the old collectors...personally I was given nothing! |
