Can the "rubber" pad on the bottom of the bowl be replaced? My fat belly pushes that round bowl off! Pad wore out years ago. Guitar purchased mail order in May 1973 from "Texas Slims" discount music house. It's a Balldeer 1111-1 Sunburst in color.

If you really need it, get ahold of a small piece of the "grip-tape" used on skateboards. Or maybe the anti-slip strips used for the shower??? But I don't think they come in black.

There was a thread a while back regarding those SlipGrip thingies, and I think a few people had issues with adhesive failure . . .

Anyone?? . . .

3M adhesive backed stair tread works great. Eventually wears a hole in your pants, but it works.

I have these "thingies" on all 4 of my guitars, and they seem to work great. The key to the adhesive is to follow the directions (as with most other things) and cure it with a hair dryer.
