Finnish cheques are only accepted in Scandinavian countries. So you can't really pay for your new Ovation with a finnish cheque.

Brad, nobody south of Algonac knows what the hell hockey is... Stay on topic will ya ???

Hey speaking of staying on topic ... I was in Ann Arbor and found that they have 'Steak & Shake' up there. VERY COOL. I used to go visit my mom in FLA just as a coverup to the fact that they had S&S down there (plus Piggly-Wiggly and a lot of other cool places that never quite made it out to North Mexico). S&S waitress gave me my own S&S hat and personal hairnet. She even let me walk around to the back of the counter for a few seconds. I felt just like the movie "Almost Famous".

Steak & Shake = Johnny Rockets minus the hype.
There is an S&S a mile down the road from me.
I'd give up all the Steak & Shakes for half the number of Waffle Houses.
But....I digress.....sorry.
Hey...how 'bout dem Tigers!

Waffle House! There's nothing that compares with a Texas Patty Melt, a side of scattered, smothered and covered, and a bowl of Bert's Chili.

Errr. Sorry. How about dem A's?

So how about someone sells me an Ultra GP? :)

I can trade it in for my more or less UltraGP-oriented vinyl collection:

1) Desert Sessions, volumes 1 to 6, 7&8, 9&10
2) Kyuss 'Into The Void' purple vinyl 10"
3) Qotsa 'Qotsa' black vinyl 12"
4) Qotsa/Beaver split 10"
5) Unida 'Coping...' splattered 12"
6) Slo Burn 'Amusing...' deep orange 10"
7) Earthlings 'Human Beans' 3 x 10"
8) Gamma Ray (Qotsa demos) 7"
9) Qotsa 'Go With The Flow' clear 12"
10) Qotsa 'First It Giveth' red 7"
11) Kyuss 'Wretch' clear 2 x 12"

plus some non-Josh and non-GP records:

12) Tool 'Opiate' 12"
13) Tool 'Aenima' 2 x 12"
14) Distillers 'Sing Sing Death House' 12"
15) A Perfect Circle 'Emotive' 2 x 12"

That's approx $1500.

So, anyone?

Adam, some of that is pretty cool music but what makes the collection worth $1500?

Well Stephen,

The Desert Sessions volumes 1 and 2 are alone worth about $300, cuz they're mint and were pressed only a 1000 each. Qotsa s/t black vinyl was pressed in 2500 pcs, and is worth $150-200. Gamma Ray is worth $75-100 approx, cuz there were only two runs of 1000. Tool Aenima - usually $250, cuz i believe there were only 5000 pressed or so, and it's the most maniacally sought after item of my collection. The Earthlings box is no.55/500, signed by Frank Kozik.

There are also some other rare vinyls worth $30-$50. The cheapest is the Opiate for $10 and the Qotsa 'First' also approx $10-15.

Thanks. It was gone but now it's up again. However i'm totally out of cash now, so i won't bid :( Oh well...

But i do have a question to you guys - can anyone actually tell me the actual weight of the GP? Or even more, the thickness of the body itself (let's say at the edge, where it's the thinnest). I'm wondering about the difference between the GP and the Cort M520/M600 - i'm beginning to believe it's just much thinner. But i need to find out.
