The concept was to get together with some "player" friends that I have not seen in a while and perhaps get some of the OFC tour vibe going. Well....the old crowd didn't show, we had Pacific Northwest type rain until about 4 p.m, and I picked the same date at the Woodward Dream Cruise event which is a big thing around here. The only other player from the old days that showed up was my friend Ted (the bass player in Captain YoYo and the Seadogs). But the friends, family, and neighbors made it a pretty darn good party. Ted fit right in. The neighbors and a couple family members were suprised to find out that I played the guitar.
The guy playing the O in the last pic is a neighbor from about 10 houses down. He's a pro who plays in a county band. Never met him until last night. He called up his lead singer who came over and did a great "Red Neck Women" (Gretchen Wilson). And of course...the guy has an Ovation of his own.

I don't have a clue on why it looks like "that lady" is on fire. Digital cameras can do funny things sometimes.
The country guy was real impressed with the UTE.

I still have the tent.
