Location: Route 66, just east of the Cadillac Ranch | I exchanged emails with the seller on this, but when we got down to discussing payment and shipping the communications stopped. Perhaps someone local will have better luck. The guitar looks pretty clean with the exception of the rosette lifting. I'd like to have a nice early 12 string in my small collection but it doesn't look like it will be this one. |

Location: Tennessee | Replaced bridge? I thought the '68 small hole 12's had all had the winged bridge. Maybe this one is transitional. |

Location: SoCal | pulled out mine...there is a difference.
mine has two plugs v. three on this one; this one has a thicker curve in the wings...as if carved to simulate the original.
possible that the top, bridge, and rosette were replaced.
course, we have a couple of members who would know...
look, this is far behind what I paid for mine from an esteemed member...did a BIN on eBay.
with or without the bridge, it appears to be in great condition for the age. |
