Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | I got this a good while back as part of a trade, figuring I might get to experiment a little. But alas, I've had no time to tinker for quite a while and it's taking up useful space at the moment. It's a 1627 that's seen better days, though it still has a lot of life left in it.
First I want to say that it is perfectly playable. The damage is primarily cosmetic except for the slice of finish that is pretty much missing. (See photo.) The top is full of various dings but has no cracks. The neck is straight. The bridge is tight. And the pre-amp has gone missing.
It comes in a somewhat-worse-for-wear case that has numerous cracks and is missing its handle. However it still seals tightly and affords plenty of protection. The interior is surprisingly spotless!
So you have some options here:
1) Buy your self a nifty DIY project if you are good at that sort of thing.
or
2) Get yourself exactly the type of guitar to take camping or to the beach without worries.
I dare say that this one is nowhere near "trebuchet-worthy", it's got too much mojo for that.
$225 shipped CONUS.
There are more pics HERE.
