I was quietly watching that one, half-hoping to snag it so cheap that I wouldn't feel so guilty about breaking my promise not to buy any more guitars for awhile again.

These look like fantastic travel guitars. I'd love to have one of these unique little guitars.

Looks like the auction will be ending at 2:30 eastern time.

Dang, I wish I had the dough.
My Son was born in 97 it'd be neat to get it for him.
Hell, next time I have some spending money and find one they'll want a fortune :)

Right after I spent all my money on Friday, I saw a 1114-4 getting close to the end for $241...

It sold for $247!

So this might be the time to reconsider that promise.

Maybe I should bid anyway... I can wait to pay until I carry some cash to the bank...

EVERYBODY IGNORE THIS THREAD!

It's going up quickly and will soon be out of my reach. I suspect it will reach it's market value before it's all over tomorrow.

I have ignored the promise many times, but at least this one is up past the point where I can ignore it and keep the promise. I'll go back to dreaming about that wood-topped Adamas.

I've always wanted to add one of these to my arsenal, but I'm still set on raising funds for an Adamas 12 string first. Priorities are priorities. Good luck to anyone here who has the nads to snag it (: I double-dare ya.

I refuse to acquiesce to such a juvenile expression of peer pressure!

(I can't, I've already caved in to someone else's... )

Arthur, that 1114-4 Folklore for $247 is gone to me.
Don't be afraid, we'll have two beers together when you'll visit me here and you can play it as long as you want, okay??
The 1681-7 you had posted arrived today.I'll have a lot of work on it, it looks awful. When I've finished the refurbishing I' post some picks of it here. Thanks again!
