Alright, brothers and sisters. Time to trim the fleet and make a little room for the new baby.

3 guitars for sale:

First, a couple of all-American precious T's:
1778T and 1868T

and, as promised, the brand new Celeb, played only once, and caught on video:

Prices:
1778T: $500 - with KOA TRC and Zero Gravity case

Well I just got it and I LOVE it!!! A great big THANK YOU to Joe!!! I am a very happy lady right now. Who would have ever thought a mid-depth bowl would put out so much sound? I'll tell you folks, if you can't afford an Adamas, this guitar is a VERY close second. Gotta go play with it some more now...

The T's are a helluva lot better guitar than you would think just by looking at them. They pump out a lot of sound and all of it is good.

Alison's right. A mid depth bowl Elite T is a great guitar for a great price. Ain't no Taylors or Martins in the same price range that even come close...

LOL. Now you understand my fixation with the American T tops! But not all T's are alike. Some sound alright, others sound really good, but once in a while you find one in a league of its own like this one. I'm glad it stayed in the family!

If Alison wasn't so Quick, I was considering that one, but, have something else in the works. I have played about 5 T's in the past and None sounded that great to me. After seeing posts
about them I thought I might give one a chance.
Anyway................Enjoy Alison!

I don't doubt that at all. I've played and/or owned several that didn't sound that great (three TX's and four of the earlier T's with the thinline pickup), three that sounded really good (both T's with the OCP-1K), and two that sound "Adamas" good (both T's with the OCP-1K). Alison now has one of those last two, and Rosy stays with me! :-)

Anyway, up for sale we still have an 1868T and the new Celeb. I'll take counter offers at this point. PM me, and if I don't hear anything in a couple of days they hit the bay.

Joe, if you ever DO decide to sell "Rosie", please give me first shot at it! As we speak (oh alright, as I type) a friend is playing this guitar and his jaw is hanging open! Absolutely AMAZING guitar!! I thought I'd put it on the wall here at the shop, but after today this one's going home with me. A keeper for sure!!!

When I first picked up a T (when they first came out) I was prepared to be disappointed. WTF had Ovation done. Then I played one and my jaw dropped. Same response with an LX 12 string. Mid depth bowls with a deep bowl sound. Both were very smooth sounding (if smooth can describe a sound), very similar to the NAMM 2080 that I'm holding. Wonder if it's the scalloped X bracing?

While I still prefer an A braced guitar (or Quintad on the multi holers) I'm very impressed by these instruments......

Second T sold.

One celeb left. Make a counter offer before it goes to the bay. I'm flexible.

Concerning my other T's, I need to get the new SSB Adamas before I do anything I'll regret. I'm still too attached to Rosie and Sweet P (Sweet T prototype) to let either one go any time soon.

Hey now Joe...

I got an Adamas sitting next to me, but I ain't gonna sell all my T's cuz of it.

Don't do anything foolish.

And I look forward to seeing the new creation.

One suggestion Joe ... IF AT ALL POSSIBLE ...play some different Adamas guitars (at a gathering?) before you make your final choices. There have to be members/owners in your area that would be willing to hook up with ya. You only have one opportunity here.

Thanks, OMA, I hear you! That's precisely why I'm holding on to those two :-)

Bvince, good advice, and I did just that! Well, I haven't made it to an OFC gathering yet (hopefully one day!), but I did hook up with a fellow OFC'er and I've definitely played enough O's and A's to know what I liked and disliked for each component of the guitar. (If this thing comes out like I dreamed it, I may even need to eventually do a second one!)

This is one of the things I really appreciate about the OFC. You guys (and gals) are an invaluable source of info, assistance, and inspiration, and have always been a part of the whole O experience for me.

Alright folks. Holidays are coming up and you can get a brand new celeb, if not for you then for someone else for considerably less than you would pay at the store. How much less? I don't know! PM me with a counter offer and find out!

I was just PM'd suggesting I lower the celeb price since that's what they cost at the store. I posted that price to match the store price, expecting a counter offer. Since I haven't heard back, how does a hundred bucks off and no shipping cost sound? $250, shipped.

Proceeds go to the OFC.
