Hello friends,

seen that (I'm sure...)?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Ovation-Adamas-Reissue-1687-8-Acoustic-Electric...

What a beauty! Overpriced or good offer? There's hardly anything that compares below 2.5k$. On the other hand: it's not new but five years old...

What do you think about it? I already contacted the seller: seems honest. Does anybody know him/her?

It's not that I had the money but who know where I could sill raise some funds ;)

I think that's a GREAT deal for what is virtually a new guitar. If I had the spare cash I'd snag it myself.

No warranty. I'd buy thru Al and get that.....

Hey you all,

@Moody: I saw Al's offer on his website and on Ebay, too, and I think it makes sense to buy there. But AFAIK there's no warranty for U.S. Ovation models when exported to outside of the U.S. Or is it for export models if bought in the U.S.? I'm a bit confused about that and would be grateful for some enlightenment...

But anyway, I'm afraid that I can't afford to go for the 1687 after just buying a W681-T2 from Al and the W598 from NY with Mike's thankworthy support.

So, if someone else from the OFC wants to make her his/her own: please go ahead and feel free to do so!

Hi everyone,

the lady in blue was finally sold today for $1,700 -- what a deal! But I must admit that I didn't care for this "-8" from this morning on any more. See my new thread for what I discovered this morning...
