An early example of a USA made Peavey 5 string bass. Made back in the 80's, this one has all the bells and whistles.

The electronics are pretty cool. It's active (has onboard 9v) and the tone possibilities are endless.

The blend control knob lets you go from neck pickup to bridge pickup and any blend in between. There a seperat knob for highs, mids, and lows. There's also a volume knob. The best thing is the bypass switch which lets you bypass the active electronics. This is great, especially if the battery goes dead during performance. When in "passive" mode, the volume and blend knobs work as usual, and the highs knob turns into a straight tone knob.

It's in like new condition.

Pretty sweet bass, but I have 2 and only need one.

$350 with case

That blanket has almost sold as many guitars as TJ's palm tree!

Woody, nice grab!

At last count, I've sifted through somewhere between 60 and 70 guitars in the last couple years.

I'm sure TJ has that beat... in Q3 of last year even :D

Too bad the bass is gone, I would have gone for that.

Well you know, TJ, there's always the potential for future exchanges (lol).
The hard part's remembering them.

No reason to be sorry, Woody. Just don't do it again.

Grabbed the Bass at the GSVGS yesterday and after a short explaination of what all the extra knobs were for... I'm ready for lessons.

Oh, and a Bass Amp.
