This was TOO good a deal to not let the forum know I saw it. #1? UNPLAYED? 1200.00?
I could never buy this guitar (at any price) without playing it's A$$ off.

Regardless of the signature, that's a good price for this guitar....

Oh...
By coincidence I was looking at the label on my AD-II the other day and wondering if Al DiMeola signed it.
I figure not because it is the exACT same signature on the headstock.

WOW! I understand that some people collect things and don't use them for the purpose of an investment, but this guy is selling this for half the price he paid and never had the enjoyment of playing it? ... That's ludicrous.

Why buy a guitar if you're not going to play it? You may as well collect baseball cards.

The lady I bought my 87 Collectors from had hardly touched it in over 20 years. She was a classical guitarist who had received it as a gift and never taken to steel strings. A true "kept under the bed" find, it still had the original strings on it when I purchased it roughly 2 years ago. I don't entirely understand how such a fine instrument can be stored and nearly forgotten, but I'm not complaining either.

Well... I don't think mine is.
If the signature was "real" on the label it would show some kind of variance from the one stenciled(?) on the headstock. They are dead on matches.

Maybe he signs as consistently as he plays?

He signed 50 guitars in gold marker on the FACE of the guitar.

Hey Brad, does your ADII have the Kbar or the LX neck?
