Hi all. Just recently picked up the Di Meola signature guitar, and I love it, but it doesn't seem to like open tunings. It shines in standard tuning though. I used to have a Custom Elite (wish I still had it) and it seemed to be made for all kinds of wacky tunings.

Anyway, looking to trade for a newer model Custom Elite. Not sure on the year of mine, but it does have the OP-PRO w/XLR. It's in great condition with some minor pick scratches in the finish. Has some subtle lines in the finish too (not exactly sure what these are) but they are not in the wood.

Mods, feel free to delete this topic lol...playing this guitar for the last few hours made me realize I just can't part with it. I love it too much. Thanks!

It's never a bad thing when buyer's remorse strikes before it's too late. ;)

I was just going to recommend you look for Custom Elite for sale before getting rid of the ADM. That IS a nice guitar.

I've got a standard elite for sale. Mid bowl 6778LX in Vintage Natural. Not as blingy as a Custome Elite, but a real nice example of the Standard Elite.

Damn, this would have been the deal I was looking for!!!

Getting rid of my hardly ever played LX Custom Legend...

...and getting a much nicer AD for it.

To bad you changed you're mind. On the other hand - better for us both - tradings across "the sea" are quite expensive.

Enjoy your guitar, it truly is a beauty,
Kurt

Kurt: Man, that's tempting. That's the same color I used to have. I'll let ya know if I change my mind. Out of curiosity, how much is shipping to or from Germany?

Might be interested in selling it outright, need the $! $1300. No case, although it would come with a gig bag. Anyone interested?
