Are you saying this is one of a hundred made, or are you saying it is #001 of 100? Either way, these are killer guitars and possibly a great opportunity for somebody.

It is NOT number 1. It is one out of the one hundred made.

I need to raise cash for bills or I would not sell this. I also have Al's old personal 1587 -2, Red 6-string cutaway which will have to do for now. Hopefully I will be able to hold on to that one. My wife just had surgery due to cancer and I can't justify the amount invested in guitars right now.

Sorry to hear health issues force the sale. I pray your wife has a speedy and full reoovery.

For those that haven't played a 2008-5, these are amazing guitars. The handlaid fiberglass contour bowl makes for a very light guitar and the 1 3/4" neck is great for finger style. The 08C was my first Adamas. ;)

Good luck with the sale!
Nick

I don,t own one but I have played one. One of the best necks I,ve ever played. The guitar was very light, kinda like picking up a 30year old d18. Wish I had the cash .

Oh my. Saccaguea, you're killing me. I've always wanted one of these but had to "settle" for an 07 Collectors (which is a great guitar in it's own right).

I have no doubt one of these has to be a good investment as well. After all, these are still worth money after you buy them and are an asset and can be cashed in just as I am doing. Only 100 made and top of the line Adamas.

I've played one as well and think it's one of the finest the MS has ever produced. Sorry about your troubles but at that price it's a steal.

That's a great deal. Just shows how much of a buyer's market it is these days.

Mark (ElginAcres)is very interested in your guitar, We talked about it at Florida this week but he will not be back in town until Tuesday.

I would suggest you contact him via email and talk about it. He lives in Westminster.

Tuesday is not a big deal. I would not be able to ship before that anyway with the auction ending Monday night.

You will probably have better luck selling this right after tax return time. There may be more people with money in their pockets by then. This is well worth more than your asking price.
