Offered to the OFC is a recently resurrected Preacher Deluxe with an Ovation HSC (perfect inside/homely outside but fully functional). It sports the natural finish and fully functioning electronics as well as a wood veneered P/G. Some of the Gold hardware is worn but the switches and trim work are mostly new. More Pictures in my Gallery. Even more by email if requested. Beautiful Abalone work on the neck and the frets are in excellent shape. It has great action and balance. Tuners are in very good shape. There is a dent at the upper end of the neck and some “scuffing” near the pick guard. The body is done in lacquer and although not perfect, looks very nice, no dings, dents or divots. Since I have set the precedent, it comes with the Limited Lifetime OFC warrantee – (If I can, I’ll fix it). Talk to me and I will nitpick the heck out of it but it really is a nice guitar. I will be finishing a darker P/G if that is your preference. Preacher Deluxe, OHSC, Shipping in the US, OFC Warrantee: $575 if sold by this Thursday. Headed to EBay starting with a semi-realistic reserve this weekend. ![]()

Buy 'em now so your grandkids can own them when they start to climb. The Demon Deacon has the same abalone inlay, and it's beautiful, although I remember somebody here once calling it the luncheon meat of inlays. I likes it, and that may be the most appealing Preacher I've seen.

In fact (having bought & sold a few PD's over the years) I would say that Woody has done an exceptional restoration on this one, and y'all'd be Campin' Happy to be Pickin' & Grinnin' wit' dis one! Nice job and best wishes, Woody (now don't you OFC'ers let the eBay wolves have this one!)... ;)

I was torn about buying the guitar but between too many electrics already (Did I say that?) and a new roof going on the old homestead, it's better for me to wait. MWoody will no doubt offer another beautiful creation that will be better timing for me. My wife must have French blood ... she would agree that beautties should stay on the other side of the road from me.

I love the inlay on the neck of the Preacher Deluxe's... I've only seen one Viper Deluxe ever and that's the one on the admins website (I think his name is Mike?). Do viper deluxe's have the abalone inlay? I know they have 3 humbuckers...which look stunning. I never see Viper Deluxe's for sale however. I really wish Ovation started re-making their old solid bodies, I love my Viper, I find it better than many guitars over $1200, and that's good, considering I bought it for $75. I wish I could play more Ovation solid bodies.

I will email the particulars to you for tracking and such. I kinda like the idea of going International! Gotta get back to work. SWMBO is expecting dinner on the table when I skip out of work to ship "another" guitar!

Think we probably speak about this beauty ! When I was wondering to contact you to buy it, I called Jérôme and he said : GO FOR IT ! :D Don't worry, it will be in good hands and I'll send you a couple of pics to show its new home (a certain Custom Legend which used to belong to Dave will be its companion ;) ) ! Dave, if you put an eye here, you'll find some pics of the CL here !
