Maybe it's the lighting for the picture, but the top looks like it could be cedar.

Hmmmm, I could save on shipping costs as it's location is 15 minutes down the road....

Be nice to add to my collection, but probably wouldn't get played very much (when I first took guitar lessons I was learning classical...)

Oh well, I'm saving for a Hamer Monaco Elite my local dealer has right now....

It's not quite a classical guitar, rather it's used to get a different sound (e.g. Latin, Spanish) through it's amplified chambered solid body construction. If you are looking to add a second voice to your music then it would be great to try this one. I used mine with the Boss AD-5 and it's simply sweet! The price is good too.

I routed my 1624 through some effects and found that it loans itself to being a very "plyable" medium. Add the zero feedback and slim contour of this model and you have a very forward thinking instrument.
