Joined: March 2008 Posts: 354 Location: nashville | Makes me want to tune my guitars down a whole step. Reminds me of when my Martin fell out of the stand. However it snapped the head almost into.It was my only guitar at the time. The repair guy Gruhn recommend was unbeliveable and the repair is barely noticable Cost me about $250.00 . That was almost 10 years ago and Sonny has since passed away but it looks like his work will stand the test of time. HOpe your repair will to. | ||

Level and dress frets Adjust & set action String & play test ...now all they have to do is ship it back to me ;) Sent it to them and let them do their magic. | ||

I loved the ol' top, but this one has more bass presence with sweet clear highs. It's a different, but better sounding FUD. And the wood grain is tight and straight. Just wonderful... It has something special that the ol' one didn't. Maybe it has something to do with the wood under the ol' bridge. ![]() | ||

If it was mine, I might be tempted to use bolts. Maybe a couple of Tortoise dots on top. | ||
