I hadn't played my 2007 Collectors for some months so dusted it down (it's the only guitar I hang as I want it on show and to hand) and gave it a play. Damn that's a great guitar. Lovely bass responce and sooooooo easy to play. Yum. I've kind of neglected it but I think I'll be using it for the Snowflight piece for the album. I will never sell this guitar. Just realised I've only a few pics of it, must rectify that too. ![]()

I realized that I don't have too many pics of mine either. Apparently 2007 Collectors' don't get the respect they deserve.

I dont play enough to warrant buying more guitars but was tempted with the 2009 Collectors. You guys really helped me out with all your good advice on setting up the saddle and neck. No more fret buzz and nice low action. Thanks

I wouldn't say I got a "bad" one, but it is true that some guitars of the same model sound better than others. I think part of the reason I didn't like it so much was I got it at the same time as my 2077LX. That guitar has crystaline trebs and mids, and that's why the '07C might have sounded nasal to me. NO guitar I've ever owned has sounded as good to my ear as the LX. (Pretty amazing when you consider all of the great guitars I've owned over the years.)
