My older brother happens to be a much better guitar technician than a player and thats ok by me.check out the shots of the abalone birds he put on my one year old girl.It has personalized my axe and added the perfect offset to an all ready awesome geetar.The fretboard was polished to bring out the luster of the inlays.I love it and he knows it.Its really cool to have a brother thats such a perfectionist.

Beautiful! I vaguely remember seeing something like this from the hand of Larry Robinson who did this neck for McLaughlin (later stolen!!!):
