| I am considering taking the leap to a Fishman Aura after some internet research and comparison with alternatives.
As I have several guitars I use for gigs, the model that that seems to fit my needs and is currently offered is the Fishman Aura Spectrum DI for about $330. Alternatively, the original discontinued model, the Fishman Aura Acoustic Imaging Blender consistently appears on e-bay for significantly less.
I'd be interested in the impressions of those who might have experience with either or both of these units.
Thanks. |

Location: 6 String Ranch | I've got the big one and like it.
I also have two of the little ones that are basically a volume and tone control, one for a dreadnaught and one for a concert sized guitar.
I use them with my Collings that have Fishman pickups sometimes. |

Location: Chicago | I bought the Big One a few years ago. It's pristine with box and power supply. I quickly realized that the imaging technology is not for me. I'd be glad to sell it for 200. |

| There was one on e-bay for just that amount that I let expire. No bids.
As the referees say, "Upon further review . . . " I'm going to put this on hold for a while. I'm not sure this is a solution to a problem I'm not entirely sure I have.
Thank you all for the responses. |
