Joined: March 2005 Posts: 5567 Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | We discussed this last fall or summer...I just haven't done the search...But back then I talked with the owner several times over two weeks on the phone and by email when he had no idea what the guitar was called or the history behind it: I researched the guitar to find out that it was an 1979 Adamas I 1688-9 with a matching 1687-9 6 string...(BTW: The 1688-9 could use a repair: I suggested his getting in-touch w/the MS...not sure if he did...maybe it's worth more with the missing epi piece...I dunno...) He's a nice guy and is into this guitar for a lot of money (along with his partner)...this is the 4th time it's been offered.
