While rehearsing for Christmas eve, my 1976 patriot (w factory electronics) crapped out.

I had my VXT with me to use for a Rock set and went to the VXT as a main acoustic instrument. This is the first time I have plugged it in direct to the house PA.

WOW! . What a great acoustic sound... I rolled in a little bit of the neck electric pickup and got great almost Jazz like quality from it.

We are doing the Bare Naked Ladies version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman with two acoustics and this blends really well ... It will be the main intrument tomorrow night. I'll have to get the patriot fixed (as it is one sweet guitar) but I never realized how great the VXT performs in a live setting. From total acoustic to Line 6 / Marshall stack sounding Metal. IT RAWKS !

Yep. It has nearly unmatched versatility short of two instruments.
