Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | I think the drugs just helped people forget about all the crap that was going on in the world at the time. So I guess in that way it DID influence the music. So did Ripple and Boone's Farm ... but I wouldn't really know anything about all that either. |

There was lots of bad drug influenced music made in the 60s-70s, just like now. And in 20 years no one will remember Kanye West! |

Location: Michigan | interesting that when i posted this thread i had an employee of mine who drove a truck for our company who had an accident last week and our policy is to take the piss test whenever you are involved in one.after he did the test he came back and told my manager that he was not going to pass the test.he said he quit smoking dope for a couple of months to get the job but he has not stopped doing it since he was 13 years old unless he was changing jobs.he is 59 years old and it was sad and so embarrasing for him to end his employment like that.i feel for him but these are our rules and i do not want to ever see anyone get hurt or injured because of someone who is high or drunk to pleasure themselves.
one tough lesson for him at 59 years old out looking for a job at 59 years old in our state
( michigan ) is not good.GWB |
