Location: ITALY | Hi everybody,
I am - or I was? - the proud owner of a 1773lx (classic).
I've had it for three and more years with no trouble at all...
...until yesterday: when I changed the string-set with a brand new D'Addario Pro-Arte Hard Tension set.
Well believe me: the four central strings give a vibration similar to the sound given by a broken-wood guitar.
In other words: it's terrible!
The only way to quit it is to extract the amplifier from it's shell - or to push it while playing, which is a sort of circus-exercise...
Does anybody know which trouble I'm facing?
Or simply a guitar paid 1,700 euro (2,300 USD) cannot stand D'Addario Pro-Arte Hard tension strings - which could be translated as "why buying an expensive American guitar when a normal Japanese one support any kind of strings"?
Thank you very much from Italy
