Joined: March 2005 Posts: 12759 Location: Boise, Idaho | I do Longer in an open D tuning. I can't imagine trying to do that in a live setting. Diary is my first song I learned on guitar. Somebody wasn't playing it right and I figured it out on my little brother's kid guitar just to show the guy how to play it. My voice was never high enough to do much Bread stuff, even back when it was current. My set list is whatever I feel like. Since I am also the audience, it suits me just fine. | ||

Actually spent a summer in Wisconsin hanging with a group of people that included Michael Johnson and he was fabulous then. One of the girls in the group wrote a poem and he used some of the words in one of his songs (don't remember which one). I've lost contact now with her, but as of about 10-15 years ago, she was still receiving small royalty checks in the mail from time to time. | ||
