I know someone who is in the market for a case for his 1537. Though he did not say so specifically, I think he would prefer one that looks original, ie brown. Remember that the 1537 has the Walnut volume and tone knobs which necessitate retro-fitting a more modern deep bowl case's foam via a ball-peen hammer.
Anyway, if anyone can help, let me know. Pics and a price would shortcut the process.
Thanks in advance. |

Location: Reading, Pa. | SKB made a case for medium to deep bowls. I have one for my 1511. Yes I had to use a ball peen hammer for the volume control. Guitar is very well protected. I paid 95$ for it but I got a discount. Don't quote me but I think they go for $150 plus or minus. This case was made for Ovation and has their logo on the outside of the case. |

Location: Reading, Pa. | It might be a long shot but I just tried my local Ovation dealer and he had one he was willing to give me a deal on (95$). |

I just keep passing these on to my friend. I'm sure he will track one down somehow. He plans on calling Kim Keller tomorrow for advice. |
