(I think you can guess where this one's going traitor, I mean Trader.) While I'm at it, what's the difference between a Josh White and a Folklore? Both are slotheads, both have 1 7/8" nut and both are 12 fretters. | ||

Joined: August 2004 Posts: 709 Location: Germany | There's a quite simple rule with the early Ovations (including the Folklore). If it has a truss rod the neck is not removable. If it hasn't a truss rod it's equipped with the Kaman Bar and the neck is removable. I think the Folklore never had a K-Bar before it disappeared in the early eighties but I'm not 100% sure. Assuming the Josh RI is true to it's roots, it would also have a truss rod and wouldn't be removeable, if Karl's simple rule is 100% correct. | ||
