a new guitar brought me new friends
new friends brought me a nice trip
the trip brought me fun, friends and another guitar.
As you see, an almost perfect cycle.

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | Whew! What a busy day! First time I've had a chance to check in and it's almost time to go home! All kinds of great musicians here today and I wish I'd recorded it so you all could hear it.
So yes, happy New Year to all of you. It may have been a crummy year for a lot of folks, but mine has been great. Thanks Al and Miles for giving us this site and for putting up with so much from us. Thanks to all the fine people I have bought guitars from this year. Bob, Patch, TJ, Damon, Karen, and Iffy. A BIG thank you to Beal for that incredible Adamas that I play every day.
You know, if I'd known how much fun getting old was, I never would have dreaded it. Yeah, my body hurts, but my heart mind and soul have never felt better. I'm looking forward to a great 2010. (Oh, and a great OFC II :D Thanks AL!)
So all of you be safe out there. I'll be heading home in a few minutes and I'll probably be in bed by 8. (Been up since two this morning - long and painful story.) Anyway, to all of my friends here, I wish you the best, and I'll talk to you next year. ;) |
