Location: Texas | Yes. When the Bluebird was damaged by the airlines, Jeff Dayton went to Hamer and asked them to copy the bluebirds neck profile and design a 12 for Glen with a top loaded bridge so that his hair would not get caught in it when he played the WTO. So Hamer used the Ovation bridge for that.

Location: Texas | WTO= William Tell Overture I have never tried it, but I think Glen might know. As we get older, I think we become protective of what hair, short or long, we have left. Glen must have had some experience playing a 12, that was strung through the back, and getting his hair caught while resting the guitar on his head, like this Hamer.

You talking about your hair or the guitar, Al? Either way, you could solve the problem by leaving your fly down or going pantless, like TAFKAR. |
