My 80's Peavey solidbody obsession is still alive and well. Having had one too many accidents with my prized Ovation solidbodies while playing out, I discovered the Peavey line for their USA built quality at rediculously stupid used prices. Much like Ovation, they've been dissed over the years.

Recently, I've managed to find a rare Destiny Custom. Very similar to the Vandenberg model, but with the scalloped headstock in it's natural and un-reversed form.

Not all of y'alls cup-o-tea I'm sure, but I've been diggin on the sleek neck-thru design. Very much like a Jackson SL1 Soloist, but in my mind a bit more unique looking. It's one of those head turners... if you're about these sorts of guitars anyways.

Built in good ol' Mississippi

Not quite as glamorous, but such a great little workhorse is this Fury bass. Again, I hate having my Magnum bass be the 'house bass', so this one really is a lifesaver for me. It's a great little P-Bass copy, and yep... still built in Mississippi!

There is a shortage of perfect Ovations in the world. 'Twould be a shame to damage yours.

You started it, Damon!

That Destiny is right up my alley. I like the H-S-S with a Kahler bridge and I'm a sucker for that style of inset knobs and switch.
