Forgive me if this has already been said but there is currently available on BBC iplayer a 1hr show called Glen Campbell;Rhinestone Cowboy

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01pwxs8/Glen_Campbell_The_Rhi...

where there are many clips of him playing various Ovation guitars. I don't know what the availability of iplayer is on the internet outside of the UK but this is a fascinating show - I never realised what a great player he was. Hope you enjoy it!

To my knowledge, the USA is blocked from BBC content. You can do a work around using a UK proxy, but you typically run into latency problems.
If anyone wants to view this show or the 77 concert, they can PM me.

unblock-us.com works wonderfully.  costs some money every month but we watch a bunch of BBC shows and other UK content very succesfully.

Yes, I watched those GC shows here in Canada presumably because I am also using UnBlock-US.

Jay;

Well, definitely not the 6-string. That one used in the concert has a different shape pickguard, larger knobs and different pickups (mine has the uk2 pups and that one has a Viper pup in the bridge position and a Preacher humbucker in the neck position). The six-strings are easier to identify because they all seem to be a little different from one another.

This is the 6-string I have:

As for the 12-string, there were at least a couple or three like minr so it's hard to say for sure which one it is. I thought for years that mine was the last one left but then I saw this show (go to 18:45):

I'd be very wary about downloading torrents. Copy Infringement Lawyers are the new "Ambulance Chasers". I've recently received a warning for doing the same sort of thing and could end up with some major monetary fines here if it goes forward. My ISP did not reveal my name to them, so for now I'm OK, but they could push further if they wanted to make a case out of it. Right now they're offering a settlement of $4200... Glen's awesome, but I doubt he's worth gambling like that.

Granted things may be different outside the US in relation to prosecution of offenders.

"Glen's awesome, but I doubt he's worth gambling like that."

As a public service to Glen's awesomeness, if you want to watch that segment, I can probably arrange that.

Just drop me a line at jay@jayk.net
