I recently posted about this guitar in General Posting. You can read all about it there and the work I did to it. After learning how to repair a top crack when my Elite arrived from UPS with one in the top, I picked up this GC model with a similar crack. This guitar with all its mojo will make you look like you've been playing for 50 years. I just put 80/20's on it, adjusted the truss, and played it for over an hour. It would make an excellent first Ovation for a student or a great beater for your collection. Overall condition is just barely a 6 out of 10 in my opinion, but I have an OCD about guitars being in pristine condition, which this one is far from. I sealed the crack like I did on my Elite and glued back down a loose spot on the white neck binding. I paid $100 for this but feel the work I've done should make it worth the exorbitant price of $225.00 plus shipping. It did not come with a case unfortunately. I think I've given it several more years of playability. It would make an excellent first Ovation for any students you might know, or an excellent beater so you can leave your nicer O's at home on camping trips. I decided against respraying the bowl since after further consideration I felt it didn't look that bad. Since I'll be spending the money I get from this sale immediately to pay off a custom build on an OM the sale will be final with no returns considered. Here it is as it looks now.

I'll be doing something later today to touch up the visible ding in the lower treble bout.

I've filled and touched up the ding in the lower treble bout. I've also learned this is a Glen Campbell Artist model guitar. Two days into playing it have convinced me I underrated it in my original post. My wife thinks I should keep it after hearing me play it the past few days. I'm running out of time to get the rest of the money into savings for my luthier built OM that will be ready to ship to me any day now. I only have a disability income. For that reason, I will take $200 for this guitar, plus shipping cost. If I can't get that for it I WILL keep it! I still believe this would make an excellent gift as a first Ovation for a student. I know I would have been thrilled to receive it when I was learning. I'd have had a much better start with this guitar for sure.
