My bass player is looking for one.  We have a semi-unplugged gig coming up, and his acoustic bass has less-than-excellent electronics.  I think he's probably in the $1100-1200 market?

 

I personally want one as well, but my Fender Jazz is serviceable and not something I'm willing to trade off just yet...

Location: Latitude 39.56819, Longitude -105.080066		bummer........I have an extremely rare prototype Adamas bass guitar but it would take a bit more than that to pry it away. Only 1 that seems to be in existence (or at least known to be in existence).

How about a Viper bass?

They work very well for semi-unplugged gigs.

I would think "acoustic" would be unplugged. Just my way of thinking...probably flawed.

You might consider a B778TX ... yeah they're black and an offshore model. But I checked one out at NAMM last year and thought it was actually pretty good. I think you get get a new one for around $700.

Location: Denver, CO		Yeah I like the Nikki Sixx a lot. Those flame finishes are cool. Like a custom bike. I would consider one of those for myself, but not Oz's style. I would look at a TX if there was ever one around here.
