| Hello
I'm a new member, living in Cumbria, England. I have a 1711 Standard Baladeer; not the top end of the ovation range by any means but great sound and playability.
A the moment I am looking for a 12 string, probably an Adamas. There is a 12 string Legend on eBay at the moment but the rose oak leaves seems much simpler than the usual design. is this an issue. Second does anyone know how the legend compares to th Adamas for sound, playability etc. any advic gratefully received

| Thanks for the replies. Sorry,I didn't express myself very clearly. I compared the legend up for sale here with the legend in the archive on the ovation website and the patterns on the rosettes were different. I just wondered whether this could indicate some sort of problem with the authenticity of the guitar. |

The biggest concern you need to watch for is that the most recent Legends were made overseas. It is worth asking where the guitar was built, especially if the price seems unusually low. (Not that you can't seriously luck out now and again. )

| The two photos you've posted illustrate exactly what I was getting at. I'll check out where it was built.
Thanks Patch |
