| I really have to come up with one from each of these guys for my solo stuff. I keep going to other stuff to add. Anyone got any suggestions of some obscure tune that is good from these guys that I might not be familiar with?

Location: Marlton, NJ | Ray Davies just came out with a new CD. I only heard one song and it was pretty "kink"ish. |

| Hey we found a Zevon fan here! Nice to see the Ovations, I know Ray always used Ovations. But I never saw Warren playing one before. Nice PEZ |

Randy I'm not sure what would be obscure but:
Desperados Under the Eaves - Zevon
Something from either of the following:
Preservation Act I and Act II - Kinks
Muswell Hillbillies - Kinks
"My Old Man" by Nobby Clegg and the Civilians. That's an obscure song and sounds a bit like the Kinks..lol |

Location: Scotland | I have the entire Zevon concert that clip is from. It was originally released on laser-disc (rember those) in the early 80's and some guy was selling DVD copies on ebay. As far as I can tell Zevon used Custom Legends almost exclusively for his live shows. I finally got to see him solo in June 2000 and he'd switched to what appeared to be custom-shop Gibson J185's. Which sounded pretty average.
We're just about to put "Tenderness on The Block" into our set. |
