| Very rare, I believe one of only two I know of, Deacon 12 string neck on a Viper body, custom by Scanlon Bros luthier David Appel. Blue metallic finish. $3,500.00. Created a six-string using the Deacon body, which is black with Ovation "leaf" design in gold and silver as on the AE guitars, and the Viper neck (blond) which made a neat axe. Buy the 12-string and I will include that for $400 bucks. |

Location: Upper Left USA | Lovely to look at and interesting to see the Luthier's take on what to mix and match.
Viper body, Deacon 12 string neck, Preacher Deacon pickups and a Preacher Deluxe Pickguard.
As someone who has taken license to mix and match available parts I think you'll be struggling to get your asking price as it didn't come from Mother that way.
I presently have a Preacher Deluxe 12 string Neck on a Viper Body with Viper pickups and it is one I relish to play. |

| Thanks Mike for posting the picture/s for me. You must be the "Other-guy" then that has the similar combination. Paul Moody and I conferred on what to get for the supposed "Bluebird 12-string replica/ look-a-like" I was lusting for. The pickguard was made by luthier David Appel of Scanlon bros dot com by eyeballing the online pictures of said same. Fabulous playing sound and feel guitar, all Ovation elements in construction. Case is included. |
