Check out Glen's guitar and the guy to Glen's right.  I love the way Glen plays.

Did he remove some of the strings on his 12 string? I couldn't see, but it sure seemed like he was picking way too fast for a 12.

It's much easier to play a 12-string faster. Much like a mandolin. Glen is one of the very best. He just didn't get the accolades.

Is that not Buddy Blackmon (Goober) in the back line playing the other Ovation acoustic?

Nope, the guy off to Glen's right is Jeff Dayton....a former band member who toured with Glen for fifteen years.

I believe he's a member here on the OFC

No, I know Jeff but I am talking about the other Ovation slinger sitting on the banister in the gazebo. Starting the 30 second mark you can see him almost directly behind Roy. 90% sure it's our Goober.

I don't think it is Buddy. But regardless, you can tell that whoever it is, he really enjoyed it.

Of course I could be wrong.....

If ya wanna hear some incredible 12 string instrumentals from Glen Campbell got to amazon and buy his album called "The 12 String Guitar of Glen Campbell". I had it as an lp when I was a kid and basically wore it out playing it every day. You won't be disappointed.

I saw Pat play with his band at an annual music fest in Fort Worth's historic stockyards area. He played bluegrass on an Ovation the whole show. I had a contact there because I did all the signs for the festival who was going to take me to their trailer so Pat could autograph the top of my Martin D28 Custom. I backed out of that idea after realizing I would be one of the few people who knew who he was.
