I'm always on the look out for Ovations that maybe need a little TLC. While browsing eBay tonight, I came across this one.

Am I crazy, or are there no sound holes? And do the epaulets look 'off' to you?

That guitar was sold... and apparently returned, in October.
I am guessing that this is a parts project.
Those epaulets are often on sale on eBay.
It also has a patch-job for the man-hole cover.
This is just another Fishing for Dummies listing...
But the first Dummy he hooked returned the guitar.

The first listing stated, "New pre-amp has been installed, body in good shape, new bridge with piezo, nice guitar, very bright sound! Case and free shipping included."

Now this listing states, "Strings are about 1/2 inch off neck. the neck needs to be reset. body seems to be solid, electronics work, instrument is not playable now! You are buying this As-Is, what you see is what you get! Absoloutly no returns."
and "If you have a good knowledge of the workings of an acoustic guitar neck, you just might be able to make yourself a good guitar out of this piece. I am an old man and have no patience left for sutch things. So, once again, I am not misrepresenting this guitar, in it's present condition it is not playable!
"

So, he got caught selling junk.

I woulda been better if he had put the epaulet stickers on in the right place.

I thought as much...
I like how the seller conveniently left the picture of the back off the listing.
