Location: Birmingham, Al. | Okay. Maybe this is a very dumb question but... How do you know when the battery is going dead in your pro preamp? Does the light stay on or is there another clue, besides sound. When I plug in, the batt light comes on then fades out. Does that mean anything? Told you it was dumb. |

Location: Utah | My experience is that the battery in an Op Pro series preamp will die fairly suddenly. Supposedly the red LED blinks when it gets close but I've not seen it give much warning. But I have heard the sound start to get a bit fuzzy about 15 minutes before total shutdown. Usually this is about 5 minutes into a set at a show. |
