| I have admired Ovations for a while now but have never had one. I found a used Celebrity at a local guitar shop, it was excellent condition. I traded a bass that I didn't play much, plus some cash for it. I am really lovin' this guitar, it sounds great acoustically but shows off plugged up! I played it out at a gig yesterday and the other guys in the group were impressed with the sound as well. I can see that the saddle might need replacing in the near future, it's the one with the grooves cut out in the bottom middle. I'm having trouble locating one, any help would be great! |

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | Hi, I cannot figure-out which saddle you have...
Do you mean that the saddle looks like this on the underside?
Disregard that the photo sez "Applause". I was just searching online photos.
I was just speaking of the cut-outs in the bottom of the saddle.
This is what it looks like if you pull the whole thing out, not just the saddle.
That is a CP100 pickup/saddle combination.
Is this what you've got?
Photos always help... Keeps people from having to guess.
