Yes, I was bitten again by the acquisition bug.  A dusty, beat-up Celebrity iDea popped up on the local Craig's.  Two hundred dollars, some polish, a new set of strings, a new battery, toss the shims, and I'm set with a playable plastic oddball and the cool, tricky iDea preamp that's a fun diversion.  While it feels like an O, one can definitely sense the lesser quality of a Chinese  model.  I suppose as an entry guitar it would do well, but I'm spoiled by my US collection.  So, a reasonable beater for around the pool.  Just need a spare 8-pin preamp to stuff in the hole so I don't ruin the iDea doodad.
