Hi Patch! Great to hear from you, and that you are feeling a wee bit better!

I was wondering if one of those Palour Guitars would work for you - but I didn't know if you had one or not, or an ultra slim guitar - you wouldn't have to put your arm out as far, but I don't know if the position of the full face would hurt your shoulder, most likely! I am glad you have your Palour to keep you out of trouble! (Well, as much as that is possible!)

The 12 oz arm curls are good for you too, but I don't know if you can mix that with your pain pills! It does make the time go faster! LOL!!!! You have goals to achieve, and that incentive will help you get through this hard part! My goal was to be able to reach up to the top of the cupboards to get my bird down, it was the incentive I needed to work at it every day!

Keep working at it, as they allow you to, and keep us posted okay?

Ovation's parlor concept is, IMHO, one of their very best ideas. I schemed for years to build a custom one, but alas, the factory was shut down before the opportunity fully coalesced. Then, very soon after Fender stabbed all of us in the back and then spit on the factory's grave for good measure (Animosity? What do you mean, animosity?), this one showed up on Craig's List of all places, and was even within an hour's driving distance of my home! I was broke. So I traded my pristine 1987-4 Collector's for it. I have no regrets at all. Hopefully I can replace that 87C someday though.

Take a look Nancy. Ovation has not built a finer instrument.

Their line Guitars are Gorgeous, every single one of them, but Boy Howdy! their Customs show their talents in building exceptional pieces!!!! I am getting mine together piece by piece, and when they are able, and I have the money, I will be sending in for one of these Magnificent Customs! Then I will send it to you to photograph, okay?? Hi Patch, I´ve just read this...I´m feeling with you, had a bad impingement syndrome a couple of years ago, was not even able to dress myself but nevertheless had to work. And no deep-bowl guitars for quite a time, that was the worst of it. I wish you a quick and complete recovery!
